I’ve had this one on my list for so long. I’m just terrified of picking the wrong starter fabric.
This looks great. So much variety in colour.
I’ve envied this technique in the past. I love the way it alters the original print in wondrous ways. Very striking and pretty. Love it!

I assumed any fabric would work but was proven wrong when I picked baseball caps on a white background (that was when I knew we had a grandson on the way and was going to use it for him) Cut and sewed one row before giving up because it was very, very boring.
My suggestion, use something with lots of colour and avoid white as the background colour.
