This video shows a sort of hyperbolic granny stitch cardi that’s done completely in 1 piece, no seaming at all. The join is more granny stitches to build up the front placket & optional collar or hood. It’s so mesmerizing to watch & I’m fascinated by the geometry.
Not sure I’d actually wear such a thing but I am sure I really want to try making it. Maybe in one colour or a variegated yarn like mandala.
I like that there is no seeming! I made a hexi cardigan and really liked how it turned out and the join of the two pieces wasn’t too bad. I’m making an another cardigan that is all one piece right now but it’s much different than this one.

A friend of mine wants a cardi in all black, I’m thinking at least a cool texture would add some interest.
