Admin note: poor USPS is taking anywhere from a week to a month to deliver things within the country, so while you’re welcome to remake & resend things at the 2 week mark if you want to, at present I’m not considering anything lost for at least a month. ![]()
So very cute! Thanks for the extra fun;)
I received this ATC from @megwell for “cat shenanigans” and it totally counts! (I have no expectations from these prompts btw. I just want to see where people take them!)
Betty says she might text me a pic of the empty waterbowl though…
Thank you!
That’s hilarious. And pretty acurate.
Also, I think that not knowing what comes to another person’s mind when reading your themes is an amazing part of this ATC swap
I have been working on getting sillier with my interpretations of everyone’s themes.
It is becoming my favorite part of this swap!
I love your cards
Glad you like it, @MamaRhi! I think I neglected to mention in the note that the background is from a masterboard by @Reinikka.
I also like to leave a lot of my themes kind of ambiguous to see what people do with them. Interpretation is half the fun.
awww
OMG @gozer look what finally made it!!!
“Bunny Snow Day”
Betty was also very interested
I love it! And what kind of pencils did you use? I think I’d be obsessed with them too… Very cool!
I LOVE the bunny snow day!!
I received this gorgeous cross from @thanate from the February swap. Plus envelope art and various bits of ephemera
which I always love. The cross is GORGEOUS ![]()
Yay, that’s two things out of postal limbo! We’re down to only one card still in transit since February…
I received a February twofer from @thanate for my words-only theme:
Thanks, Ann! I need to do more blackout poetry…
I finally had time and energy over the weekend to get my Feb ATC finished and I dropped it in the USPS mail drop this evening.
Thank you for patience and understanding after life took a bad turn.
Glad to hear you’re getting back to a place where you can cope w/ the everyday nonsense like swaps. ![]()
And in other news, the last card that went into the mail in February finally arrived today! This lovely paleoart one from @MamaRhi
(also despite the fact that it went into the mail on Feb 17, the postmark says Mar 11, so they are not kidding about substantial delays there— good luck if you have anything time-sensitive you can’t take to the PO by hand.
)
Megwell and @thanate I would like to try blackout poetry, that’s cool
I’m working on my most complex ATC yet just as tax season (my first as a paid tax preparer) is getting pretty deep. So the pieces are mingling with all the paperwork on my desk and hopefully won’t drag a 1099-DIV into the glue…
I keep trying to move them out of the way or keep them on my work table, but such is reality. I really want to see how well I can pull this off but I have to wrestle my way through a Schedule D first. Almost there!
The Palio art from @MamaRhi is very cool. I like the watercolor brown background. I’m trying to figure out what the human figure is up to…is it knitting sweaters for the antelope?
Yes! Who wouldn’t want to knit sweaters for the antelope?! ![]()
