Oh my goodness. I got the most amazing ornament from @curiousfae . It truly phenomenal! She chose my Cryptozoology theme and went with Fresno Nightcrawlers. Have you see the video of these? So much fun!
The ornament is so cool! I am in awe. I gasped when I opened the box! Everything is so expertly crafted. It’s gorgeous!

They even glow in the dark! I will get a pic of that tonight.

And she sent the greatest extras.

These are handmade stickers! Look at how beautiful they are! Everything is so amazing. I have serious swap anxiety now. This is exquisite!

Curiousfae, thank you so much! This is going on my display shelf year-round. I absolutely LOVE it.

I want to do more, but am trying to limit myself. LittleBookLover has Thanksgiving break the last week of the month and we’ll be out of town, which really limits my crafting time. Plus, I came up with a fun idea for the Christmas card swap that I need to get started on…and it doesn’t help that the house is an absolute explosion that is very much requiring my attention. If only I didn’t have to sleep, or eat, or clean…

@curiousfae made another phenomenal ornament. A gingerbread bat!! I could die from the cuteness. She even added a blood drop gem. I had planned to gift away a bat ornament if I received one, but I am definitely keeping adorable little batty.

Yay! Glad you like it. I hemmed and hawed on how to decorate her to look more gingerbread-y. The dots seemed a good choice as candies. And I had to add the blood drop since I found just sitting there in my stash! Crafty serendipity.

I love how swaps force me to problem solve. I embroidered two failures for my first claim. Then i switched to a medium I haven’t used in years. Apparently, this method is cool enough to catch the attention of my teenage boy. He keeps looking over my shoulder and commenting on my progress. I almost asked if he had a fever.

I got to use some gorgeous, recently acquired fabrics for my second claim. They are perfect for the job.

I claimed @Tapestry twice. I hope to get both done today and mail them together tomorrow.

Ok, peeps. Before @Tapestry 's ornament arrives, I’m going to warn you. I was on try #3 and already late mailing it. I finished and sent despite the fact that the poor little hedgehog turned out creepy. I got panic tunnel vision and couldn’t think of a solution until AFTER I mailed it. Then, of course, I came up with all kinds of ideas!
I am recrafting and will send something that doesn’t give you all nightmares.

I am positive it isn’t bad. And even if it was a horror hedgehog, that might be fun. Because while hedgies are cute…they can be fierce!

Those little teefers hurt! I’ve been bitten a time or two. Not by my Pipkin. He’s a sweetie. But our other hedgehog, Rocket, doesn’t like his nails trimmed and carries a grudge .
