Orange Tofu and Tofu Salmon


My husband was obsessed with this. I’ve done it before but in cubes and this time I tore off pieces. Absolute perfection. I did sort of deep fry these this time which you have to do since they aren’t cubes. So not so healthy. But still delicious.

I think I liked this one more than my husband. Mostly cuz he wanted a glaze. It was just super different than anything I’ve made since becoming vegan. Delicious! The way you cut diamonds into the top makes it so it is flaky like fish. You marinate it in the salmon flavoring for a day and that really gives it good flavor. You can make the “skin” on the bottom by slapping a piece of seaweed on the back. Then you roll it in cornstarch and pan fry it on all sides. Wtf how is this so perfect???
