Ornaments for Swap

Here are a couple of ornaments I made for this year’s Ongoing Ornament Swap.

The first was for @steiconi. Her Pinterest had a picture of a similar tree.

It was a great way to use a lot of the little trinkets and whimsies I’ve been saving over the years.

The second was for @Lynx. One of her listed themes was “favorite Christmas songs”. I immediately thought of Deck the Halls.

I had bought a slightly-damaged, used doll house window at a garage sale last year. I took it apart to use in wood projects. The beautiful upper molding made a perfect mantle. It’s hard to see, but the little vintage mercury glass baubles say, “Fa La La La La, La La La La.”

These are delightful ornaments! I love how personal and individual they are.

I am dubbing you Ornament Queen! I just love both of these, but especially the “deck the halls” one!

In fact, the entire gallery is pretty amazing, in case anyone hasn’t seen it!

The Eye Spy tree is so much fun. I am sure they had fun looking at all the items. The baubles one is very classy looking.

These are both super cool (my grandkids would be all about the I spy one) and I live the mini mantle. Such a unique ornament!

Thanks, everyone! I told @Lynx she could use it as a package decoration if it seemed too weird as a tree decoration.

Haha, nope, not giving that away. You make amazing ornaments!
