I’ve written this 3 times trying to not be too ranty 
Long story short, bad instructions for a very expensive pattern. I had to get help but and they were very nice but I shouldn’t have needed help for the cost.
I’m feeling especially guilty about this plush. It is very cute and some what turned out okay, but I felt obligated to give the designer a poor review (3 out of 5).

It’s a shame the directions weren’t more clear, but I’m glad they helped you through it. Some people would have been less responsive! 
It really did turn out cute! I probably would have had trouble even if the directions were simple.

Thank you, I went back and apologized for the less than perfect review and I sent her to my favorite designer that does a lot of shaping in the hoop for some examples. She asked if I could critique new instructions. Which I of course said yes

I hope the pattern gets upgraded. That pattern designer has no idea how helpful your input will be. It will be nice if future crafters have a less frustrating experience.
