My mom’s neighbor has a GlowForge and uses it to throw neighborhood get-togethers. She cuts out decor for different seasons, and we gather in her garage paint them. It’s a lot of fun and really gives a sense of community.
I go with her and this year we painted owls.
My Mom painted the brown owl with the green cap and red poof. I painted the gray owl with the red hat and green poof.
Last year, I was unable to attend, and my Mom brought mine home. I completed it this year. I added glow-in-the-dark paint to the light bulbs so they glow!
Omg so cute! I love the idea of doing stuff like this as a community! I’m jealous! I looked up what a glowforge is. That is so neat. Did they come pre-designed with the lines to just easily paint in or did you guys just go with similar styles?
