These are beautiful @AIMR! I really like the leaves and the stencil with the different sized dots, and your colour choices are lovely (especially the second one).
Excellent color schemes and I love your focal piece in the top one. I agree - a fun way to make a really cool background!
They are both great, hard to believe they started out as one piece.
@megwell love the black and white scheme. and the cookies are the perfect image!
@Abbeeroad the flower is great and the letter stamping is perfect. I always have issues with white stamp pads. no matter how careful I am they get grungy.
@Cindy the white dots are great. they really pop
@AIMR your wonky bits are great. love the colors on the 2nd one
thanks for joining in everyone!
lol at first I read it as you made 21…I thought “wow, she REALLY liked that one”…ha ha
I love how you changed it up on the second one!
This lesson also showed me that I am woefully short of papers and things yellow…I have a direction now for making some gelli prints and masterboards!
lol I’m fast but not that fast.
Most of my painted papers are blues, greens, and purples. I have been trying to concentrate on making some reds, oranges, and yellows.
I gravitate towards the same colors. I find the same in my wardrobe…I love red and barely have anything red as far as shoes and tops…time to make some changes!
Everyone’s pieces turned out so lovely- great variation in color schemes and designs. Here’s mine- thought I might tinker with it some more but maybe I’ll just make a new one!
Thanks Carlee for organizing and for the papers!!
The papers are great but I love your sentiment and focal piece!
You did a great job bringing out that bit of yellow with your focal piece! It is really pretty.
Alisa Burke has a new class on printmaking.
Just saying….only $15.
Man. It does look pretty cool…
I still have three of her classes to do…plus Fodder 2 and two other courses from a few years ago…I need to remind myself that I there is usually always a sale…need to not even look!
Just signed up for the class- looking forward to it!
@geekgirl and @jeanneleigh … I’m waiting to see your Day 7 and 8 inchies
I have to catch up - crazy last few days of school. Will bring home my bags of squares and work on them tonight during Jeopardy!
