Paper, Mixed Media, Art Journaling Craftalong 2024

Ugh…foam degenerates quickly. I read that if you put them in the freezer, they will come off easier.

Maybe a blow dryer on the back of the card to soften the adhesive?

Not sure how to repair the damage…use it like it is…might give interesting texture!

Thanks. I’ll try those ideas. I don’t think the children will mind but I don’t want the stamps to break. I suppose I could slice off the top piece and glue it to another piece of foam……hmmm. Will think about it

We will do the zoom Tuesday at 7pm Eastern time!

I watched Shannon Green’s video on YouTube about making paper lace. Basically it’s embedding string between tissue paper. Then after it dries, you tear out the bits in between the string.

The second piece is made with printed tissue and I made a small slim art journal.

I glued it to card stock but there’s no contrast so I added some scraps. Not sure about it tho…

And I had to finish a page or two…

Background is a piece from @LovelyMiss ’s swap from Junk Journal Add-Ins.

It was fun and they all look great. Interesting how each one is different even though we watched the same video.

It was a lot of fun, and everyone’s drawings look brilliant, and all individual (you too @Cindy, don’t be so hard on yourself)! Amazing job Ruby!!

Here’s mine, the lighting is terrible sorry. I did my own thing with the lips.

It was so nice to spend some time drawing with all of you

So sad that I missed this! Our plumber was free so I had to take the slot!

Everyone’s drawings are really interesting and unique…and from the same video…very cool!

I like that style as well!
