Love the backgrounds! Are they from the same sheet?

I know, right? @jemimah just does the most amazing elegant, restrained, zen art. I’m wildly jealous

But then you do fabulously original creative stuff, and @geekgirl and @megwell have a genius for seeing at in everything.

No but made adjacent to each other.

Thanks you guys :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

I love everyone’s art, sometimes I wish could make wilder and freer and more humorous cards, like you all inspire me to try!

I did another simple collage and quotes (note the awesome semi-incomprehensible sticker from a sheet @Edel sent a while back)

…. and there can never be too many frogs :frog:

lalalalalala, I can’t hear you! (since I just bought a watercolor class from the pigeon letters and I haven’t even looked at it yet!)
but I did enjoy the couple of classes I took from Alisa…maybe I’ll take a peek, LOL
(this is how I get in so much trouble!)

and @Smmarrt , your bright bold colors are fab! plus the quotes/ inspirations are really thought-provoking!

Does anyone have a favorite baby wipe they use for cleaning up their mixed media? I’m almost out and had always bought seventh generation fragrance free wipes but they’re no longer available and leave a bit of lint behind so looking for alternatives.

Bonus baby wipe idea - wrap the tip of your brushes in a baby wipe instead of leaving them sit in your water while painting. It keeps the paint from drying in the bristles and the brush won’t splay or be as prone to cracking.

I have switched to biodegradable ones, I’m sure they are not perfectly biodegradable, but everything helps and I feel less guilty.

I use baby wipes to clean my brushes a lot of times! I use
these as they are unscented, natural and biodegradeable.

It is a different brand than the original ones that I got at the pet store and are larger than most wipes, but since I got a 4 pack, I haven’t researched if there are other smaller sizes. I reuse them as well when they are dry to clean up in general around my space.

Oh I’ve never heard of dog wipes, good to know! Do they leave lint at all?

Edited to add - duh, I just realized you haven’t used this specific one so you probably don’t know if they leave lint

hmm…I never really thought about lint in any of the various wipes I use…

I took a pic and don’t see lint. Top is plain old baby wipes from Dollar General and bottom is the pet wipe…no lint that I can see on either…I stopped using the baby wipes because of the alcohol smell…even though the dog wipes say they are unscented, I smell a faint vanilla or coconut smell? But, you have to get your nose right in there…also the pet wipe seems to have more texture and wipes off more

Thanks! :grinning:

Actually, I have been deliberately working on improving my handwriting for the last six months or so, and I only changed my “a’s” quite recently. I did that too - I found some examples of handwriting I liked, and copied some letters. Still practicing and working on it!

Catching up a bit. I’ve skipped 26 (fog) for now but plan to pick it up later.

Oh, I love the Disney ticket!
My cousin and I were just talking about how we used to have to choose wisely bec there weren’t many tickets in the books for the better/ more desirable rides!
(Maybe no one here is old enough to remember the days of paper tickets at Disneyland or Disney world)
