And painted this page.
I bought a class from painting with Yvette
It’s about putting background color on half the page and leaving half white. Then using color and shapes to pull the 2 sides together.
I’ve been enjoying it
These cards are all looking so cool! I’m having a busy time and finding it hard to make something every day, but you’re all inspiring me to keep trying.
I just drew them on the back of the collage paper and cut them out. Actually, now you’re giving me ideas, a homemade stencil could be fun to make.
I’ve been watching you people smash book for years & feeling torn between being too precious about books & wanting to join the fun. Last weekend we sorted through and got rid of vast quantities of ancient computer stuff my father had saved & my mother couldn’t see ever wanting again, and I snagged a couple of spiral bound manuals for things like 35-year-old backup drives & have been scribbling away with paint pens to make background pages.
I have a couple vintage ones that were passed on to me for being too racist to put in little free libraries, but they all need a bit more tlc in the binding department first.
