I’m doing a few of those classes. I like the host and have watched some of her previous year’s sessions.

I’m participating in an in-person art journal swap. This is my favorite page so far, from a prompt. 4 lines touching an edge of the page, 6 circles any size, 2 triangles, 1 square, 3 curved lines touching an edge, make a checkerboard in one space, 2 waves lines, put a heart somewhere, use colors and design to fancy it up as you like. My best friend asked me to send her the photo too.

Ohh! I ALSO sewed fabric scraps and drew a quilt block with zentangle stippling and checkerboard.

Looks like a fun swap!

I haven’t had much time this summer to do much of anything crafting-wise. I put together a floor lamp for my husband and filed away a bunch of personal paper work and mail. I cut out a bunch of magazine and junk mail pics and decided just to take some time to play with collage.

Lots of fun. Not sure if I have the energy to do another today, but I have a bunch of images to use now.

Magazine cut outs, cheap acrylic paint, colored pencils, frame from Christmas card, fortune cookie saying, Sharpies, bird from calendar, security envelope.

I really like this. Lots of layers, literally and figuratively.

Thanks. My husband said it was creepy.

OK..last one before doing other things:

Magazine cut out(and yes, I know this is not Michelle Obama!), tea towel label, security envelope, colored pencil, Sharpies.

I made a Frida page with a quote. I like the neutral background papers - must remember for future pages.

That is hilarious!

I watched a few and they are hilarious! He did one for the word “heart”. Apparently, the symbol for heart evolved from the symbol of a man’s ding-dong. The one on “hair” was truly side-splitting, especially butt hair..ketsuge…omg…am I THAT bored tonight?
