Patchwork Scarf

I made this for the recent Scarf Swap. I don’t knit or crochet, so I knew it had to be sewn. My partner had an interesting scarf on her Pinterest that was made of yarn (not sure if it was knit or crochet), and it had a loop to pull it through. I thought that was a great idea and decided to add it to the patchwork scarf I was making her. It should keep the scarf from moving around so much or falling off.

I was particularly happy with my patchworking. I took my time and went very slow to make sure everything lined up properly.

Sorry for the bad pics. It’s dark out now. :slightly_frowning_face:
Hopefully, it keeps her warm. Thanks for checking it out!

The loop IS an excellent idea!!! Those vivid colors will cheer up chilly winter days, too! I bet she will love it!

Those batiks are particularly charming as a patchwork. Love the loop, too! What is the black backing material?

Flannel. I like it because it is soft, warm, and the brushed fabric helps it stay where you put it so it doesn’t slide around a lot.
