Personalized Housewarming Card

A colleague from when I lived in Oregon moved to Montana not far from me just over a year ago. She almost immediately started a major remodel and expansion of her house. She finally got to move in a couple weeks ago. WOO!

I am so tickled that I finally got to use this cheerful mountain print - it even has glossy clouds! There’s velum in the window on the house. I was in a rush to get this made, so just just used the white card blank as the background. I feel weird about it, but it’s off in the mail anyway.

Woodgrain textured paper for her house number, green woodgrain print for “HOME.”

All the little details make this card such a personal treasure! As always, you made something that will be very special for the recipient, and as far as the white background is concerned, it just makes the rest of the colors in the card really pop! Sometimes less is more.

Thanks everyone!

@Abbeeroad I love that paper so much! That pad came with such cool “camping/outdoorsy” papers, because they’re in these bright, candy colors!

@Bunny1kenobi You’re so kind! Sometimes I wish I could bang out a bunch of not-so-dang-specific cards!

Why not? I’d love to see what you come up with!!

I have a hard time creating just-because! But mostly I was teasing myself about not ever really being able to not keep adding little details to things no matter how many times I set out to “just do a quick ____”!
