I make a lot of cards, but I’ve only ever made one sympathy card. I just don’t think that I can come up with my own meaningful and appropriate thing to say in the moment. I probably send about as many sympathy cards for pets as I do for humans. When I saw some dies that I thought would work for such a thing, I decided to give it a try.
I also came upon a Stampin’ Up stamp set with sypathy and encouragement sentiments at the creative reuse store. I have saved a bunch of examples of sympathy card sentiments which will hopefully help me find the right things to write on the inside when the time comes.
These are the simplest/plainest cards I think I have made - at least in a long time - but I think that’s what I want. I also want them to be flat and light enough to send with a regular stamp.
