Pies-- pot holders

Realistic pies pot holders.

The fabric is from Benartex, called Harvest Pies. It was sold as a panel.

Backing is silver backed insulated fleece (I believe it’s made by Pellon. I got it at Joann.) Binding is bias binding that I cut from insulated yardage. (Also Pellon, possibly “insul-film”).

After sewing everything together, I hand tacked the binding to the back edge and then made the fluted edge stitch by machine.

These are awesome!

These are so freaking fun! Love them!!

These are fantastic! And they look yummy to boot.

How fun! I would probably always want pie though if those were lying around my kitchen.

So freakin’ cute!

These are such a cool idea!

My goodness these are darling! The fun stitch on the bias really captures the idea of a pie tin - as does the insul-brite-type material on the back.

I love them! It’s a brilliant idea and also sewed perfectly - your binding and stitching looks really good.
