Pink on pink Sailor Swift top

I’ve been in a bit of a knitting mood lately.

My latest finished item is my Sailor Swift top.

I accidentally purchased 4ply cotton yarn, instead of 8ply for a scarf I was knitting for my sister. Her favourite colour is pink, I was being too lazy to halve the balls and hold double, so I ordered the right weight of yarn. It just left me with a lot of pink cotton.

I searched Ravelry for 4ply cotton yarn patterns and found the Sailor Swift top.

It was such a breeze to knit and I really enjoyed the process. I don’t own much pink, but really love the colours.

I have a light teal and some of the hot pink left over. So I may have a pink and blue top in the future.
