Well, Mother’s Day (US) sure sneaked up on me! EEP!
Luckily, I had everything on hand to make this little pillow box for the earrings I had already purchased for my mom! I started with the pink, velvet ribbon and worked out from there.
I used my Sizzix Big Shot to cut the pieces for the main box and the “plaque” pieces which have ink rubbed on the edges. The paper rose is a pre-made embellishment.
I’ll be able to get it out in the mail with her card tomorrow so is should arrive in time!
