These are my favorite project of the year so far. I love pinwheels, and have always wanted to make pinwheel kanzashi - so I finally sat down and did it.
I made one large pinwheel
…and three small ones.
I have a pinwheel kanzashi that I purchased when I was living in Japan. I wanted to make mine a little different by lining the inside of the pinwheel with chiyogami paper. The one that I purchased was plain white card paper inside.
And yes, they all spin!
