When an epic snowstorm hits, that’s the best time to start some seeds, right?
These are mostly herbs for out front of my house (and hopefully the deer will leave alone if I let them get big enough to have some pungency before transplanting).
They’re hanging out by the furnace until they germinate and then will be shifted to a window area, so I decided they needed labels with all the juggling bound to happen.
I decided on a bunny for cuteness and to just do signs with different colors. I did the digital watercolor/drawing using Rebelle on my Microsoft Surface Pro 7, GIMP for text, and then Cricut to run them off on sticker vinyl. I used solid color sticker vinyl for the back to sandwich them around plant labels/tongue depressors (should last longer than paper, being water repellent). I’ll probably make more when I start veg later.
