Ponyo in a bottle necklace

I made this necklace for my Santa’s Sack swap partner.

It was pretty fun to make.

Used sharpie to do the line drawing of Ponyo.

After shrinking the plastic, I used acrylic paint to paint the back of the image.

Then mixed up some resin and added to the back of the piece.

After the back cured, I did the same to the front and let that cure.

I then sanded with fine sandpaper and buffed it with some polish cream.

Added a little pendant bail to the back with some resin and of course added a chain. Photo with me modeling it for size reference.

Super cute! All the extra touches you added really give it a sense of dimension. You could think it’s a real bottle at quick glance. Incredible!
