Pretty flower tealight candle holder (with mini tutorial)

Warmer weather days are just round the corner, and I like spending my evenings out on the patio. It’s time to think about how to spruce up this space First decor craft of the season - tealight candle holders. I was pretty excited to get started and took gobs of pictures, so I’m gonna share them in case you guys wanna make some too!

Step 1: Cut a toilet paper cardboard tube in half.

Step 2: Score a line about 1 inch from end of cut tube.

Step 3: Make petals with vertical cuts.

Step 4: Shape petals to make them prettier.

Step 5: Paint everything (or leave them as is if you prefer a natural look).

PSA: Don’t use actual tealight candles…lesson learned.

If you would like to make some and don’t have any empty paper tubes on hand, you can easily buy them!
I’ve seem them in 36-packs for about $10. Such a deal!
