We have table top tinsel tree dedicated our pets, past and present. Several of those pets are commemorated with pawprint ornaments in the style of preschool children’s plaster handprints, especially from the 1970s and 80s.

Obviously, we need to get Vivienne’s pawprint for her very own ornament!

If I remember correctly, the others are polymer clay, but this one is air-dry clay. The others are also cut with circular cookie cutters, but Vivienne’s is a paw shaped cookie cutter. All have the name and “___ st/nd/th Xmas” written on the back.

They’re also all bordered with stash/vintage trims.

Thanks, pals! We have at least one ornament (not nec paw prints) for each pet that each of us has had as adults.

Thanks! It takes just the right kind of cats! I have done pawprints of 3 cats the one that we’d least expected to not choose violence was the easiest!

This is so sweet! Fur (and feather and scale) friends are true friends! We still miss having pets (too hard when we might move country again).

I visited a friend yesterday and her sweet little dog decided I was OK after a while and sat on my knee for a cuddle. Came home covered in fur and dog spit lol - a happy day.
