About a month ago, a friend of mine contacted me to ask if I’d be willing to make a necklace for his girlfriend (also my friend) for Christmas.
He gave me a lot of freedom to design it saying she likes dahlias and purple. The beads are amethyst and peridot. In the center is a teeny tiny 1mm amethyst gem that you can’t really see very well in these pictures but it’s there I promise.
Seriously the gem is tiny - here’s a sapphire gem of the the same size.
I just got notice they exchanged gifts today and she loves it. Yay.
