This is my Week 2 Monster Jam drawing. The themes for this week are Purple, Fur/Furry, Monochromatic. You can do one, two or all. I chose to put them all together.
The monochromatic was harder than I expected! Luckily, purple can sway both red or blue with lots of variety.
I started with watercolor and went over it with a fineliner. I thought the effect was good at giving her fly-away hair.
The initial Post-It sketch looks nothing like what I ended up doing. I realized the mailbox would be too difficult in monochromatic.
