Purple Monster

One of my students from last year stopped into my room during crochet club and asked if I would make her something. I decided that a monster would be perfect- cute, easy, and relatively quick! I asked her to choose 3 colors, and then asked if she wanted a pompom, a braid, or hair (long or short). She didn’t know exactly what I was making, so hopefully she likes it!

I didn’t give it a mouth so it could be a quiet monster :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Cute monsters are always a good choice to give to a young person! So cute! She will love all that hair!

Thank you! I had forgotten how fun these are to make- I have 2 jumbo versions that I should find and finish.

I’m pretty sure she liked it (it can be hard to tell with middle schoolers :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes: ). I gave it to her in the morning and I saw her carrying it around in the hallway, and showing it off to people.

But, I hope I didn’t just open myself up to a bunch of kids asking for one. I guess I didn’t really think it through when I said yes!
