I’m curious…which way does she face, up or down, when you stand up? I don’t paint, so to me it would be difficult to paint her such that she is right side up when you stand.

She would be upside down if I was standing, it was much easier to do right side up facing me while I was sitting. It IS a good learning exercise to try to do a painting/drawing upside down though. That’s the kind of thing my college illustration professor would have us do, to make us “see what’s actually there” instead of what “we think we see”.
