One hundred forty four little rhombi (rhomuses?) individually cut and glued into 144 little windows.
This is Libs Elliot’s Wildflower Quilt pattern, a free pattern available from Andover Fabrics, created in paper.
I used CorelDraw to create the repeated pattern of white cut-outs and grey shadows.
First, I inked a whole bunch of different colors onto cardstock and cut out the rhombus pieces with Silhouette Cameo.
Next, I used print-then-cut to print the drop shadows on the white background, and then cut out the windows for the inked pieces.
Then, I decided on the color arrangement and started gluing.
Oopsie, messed up the pattern and had to re-arrange, but who’s to know?
Hum hum hum, while I glue glue glue, all the little pieces into the little cut-outs.
Did I forget to take a picture of it finished, attached to the base card? I did. I’ll have to ask the recipient for one.

Gorgeous and so intricate!
This is beautiful! That one would end up on my wall…. If I were the lucky recipient!

WOW, this is amazing! I hope the recipient displays it forever.
At first I thought, that’s a lot of work for a card, then I remembered whose post this was
