I, AIMR, submit the Lone Star block as the QBOM for October (on time!). It is also one of my personal goals for the 4th quarter. I am also quilting way past my bedtime, especially since I have a PT session tomorrow at 9 am! Yikes!
I have to say that the block went a lot faster and easier because I didn’t have to draw any diagonal lines. I am using quarter inch tape on my machine which makes doing diagonals so easy! You just line up the points on the redline and sew!
I took the cut off points from this block and past blocks and ironed them onto some fusible batting to make a small quilted pouch. This took a few hours, so I guess it is a medium project.
