My kids had a program at the library, so I had about an hour to myself, waiting for them. I brought some markers and a bit of cardstock with me and played around drawing in the children’s department while I waited for them. This rainbow dragon is the result. I drew the black outline first, then colored it in. It was a remarkably zen way to spend the time.
He’s just perfect…nice way to sneak in some crafty time, too!
What a cute dragon!
What a fabulous way to fit in some art time during the day!
Love the dragon
and the color choices!
Very cute! He looks like he belongs in a children’s book.
Thank you!
Congrats! Your fantastic project is featured this week!

Very stained glass. It would be a neat rendering to make one with the outlines cut from black paper and the scales tissue, do you remember that craft from school? Pretty sure my mom kept all of ours and still hangs them up each year, lol.
That would be fun. The scales are definitely my favorite part. It could be interesting to draw the outline in crayon and watercolor the fill colors too.
That’s a nice dragon! The scales look like stained glass. Oooo, future craft project for you! Glass mosaic!
