Rainbow Stripe Quilt

This quilt was made for my partner in the last swap I did on the old site. It’s the first quilt I made (though I had made some quilted coasters / mug rugs before this).

For the quilt top, I used 2 precut fabric rolls (rainbow colors!) and sewed them together. The first color sequence sewed together:

For the batting, I think I used Warm & Natural Cotton Batting. The quilt sandwich all pinned together:

I quilted it all together using stitch in the ditch quilting along the seams. After quilting & trimming the edges:

For the binding, I used leftover strips from the fabric rolls. Pinning them in place:

(the colors didn’t change, the light was just different)

It’s not perfect, but I was pretty happy with it & my partner liked it!
