Realistic Teabag Bookmark

My swap partner finally received this and I have been eagerly wanting to share this to the general threads. It was originally for a favorite tea swap, but I ran out of time and used it for the other swap I signed up for at the same time. Thankfully, the other swap required you to finish the craft prior to signing up.

Anyway, I was glad to be able to use it for this one and first time I have tried this. Glad it turned out ok. Tutorial link below. I made some changes to my liking and didn’t exactly use the same materials except for the actual teabag and modge podge.

That’s such a cool idea (and execution)! And it’s got me mulling possibilities for making more-traditional shaped bookmarks with my stash of disassembled tea bags

So cool that it is an actual teabag!

Yes, it is. I love tea and it a great way to upcycle. No cost crafting. The flowers are free too. Either given to me or picked on our hikes. The only thing I pay for is the modge podge. The link to the YouTube tutorial doesn’t load, but if you click on it, the link will take you to the video.

you did great!
what letter did it stand for? B for bag?

That could work, but I think the B was for bookmark.

Yes, it was for B for bookmark. I guess bag was also fitting.

I took some liberties with the tutorial and liked the brighter colors of the flowers. Used decorative sticky paper for the tag.
