Replacing Slipper Soles AKA Frankenslippers

Replacing Slipper Soles

I have quite a collection of slippers that get a whole lot of wear and washing. On some, the outer soles were cracking/disintegrating and on others, the uppers were falling apart. So, I thought, why not combine the good uppers and soles. So, with some Shoe Goo and plethora of elastic bands, behold my Frankenslippers!

So far, they are holding up well through multiple machine washings.

These are great saves! These look like you’ll get a lot more wear out of them.

Ingenious way of saving the slippers. I have tons. I keep buying more when parts of them wear out. I never thought of saving them. :thought_balloon:

Thanks for the kind comments. I’ve ‘pledged’ to only buy second hand and to repair everything I possibly can.
