Resin fun with my daughter

My daughter wanted to make a going away gift for her big brother who is doing a high school exchange year.

I just bought some new UV resin supplies and we decided to make a key chain.

I made the little shark out of polymer clay and she did the resin.

She enjoyed the whole craft so much that she made herself a pendant after that

And we’re going to add making resin pendants as an activity to her birthday party.

The little shark is adorable! Your daughter did a great job with the resin. Her necklace turned out beautiful as well. Great idea for her birthday party!

I love it when younger people get into a craft! I think both projects are a great way to show off her new found skills and creativity!

I bet big brother will be tickled to have something to remind him of his sis on his new adventures!

Thank you!

@AIMR she’s been getting a lot more independent and confident with her crafts over the past year or so and it’s really fun to have her try something new.

@gozer I’m a bit anxious about resin crafts with a lot of kids. My daughter has a high concentration level when crafting and so do several of her friends. But others are pushy or impatient or bossy…
