Retro-style Halloween Rosettes

HalloweenRosettes01

During downtime this summer, I made a bunch of rosettes out of scrapbook paper in patterns that I thought lent themselves to spooky season. Then a few months later, I was able to have some uninterrupted hours to craft so I added retro Halloween characters to some of them!

Two of my faves:

They’re all made using dies and a Sizzix Big Shot. The rosettes are from one die set, the characters from another, and the hats and collars from a third. “Trick or Treat” and the “ribbon” are each from other dies.

I had no specific end use in mind for them, but a friend suggested a bunting, so that’s what I did. I might not have time to really decorate for Halloween this year ( :sob:), but at least I have these hanging over an antique framed photo for a bit of holiday cheer! There is a 6th character that I made a card with, as well.
