Reusable Rainbow Recycling Bag

I let @GeekyBookworm pick the fabric for our next reusable recycling bag about a month ago and I finally sewed it up today. They are getting more and more “better” each time I make one. This time, I folded in and sewed down the 1.5" gap edges I cut for folding over the drawstring “cubby.” (Drawing a blank on better wording.) This eliminated a raw edge I had previous ones. This bag will fit in a kitchen trashcan.

Ooh, it’s so summery! Do you just rinse your recyclable items (like soda cans) before putting them in the bag?
