I let @GeekyBookworm pick the fabric for our next reusable recycling bag about a month ago and I finally sewed it up today. They are getting more and more “better” each time I make one. This time, I folded in and sewed down the 1.5" gap edges I cut for folding over the drawstring “cubby.” (Drawing a blank on better wording.) This eliminated a raw edge I had previous ones. This bag will fit in a kitchen trashcan.
Ooh, it’s so summery! Do you just rinse your recyclable items (like soda cans) before putting them in the bag?
Yep, rinse then let dry.
Very cute fabric!
Thank you. Yes, that’s what I was trying to think of, I believe!
looks great!! love the fabric and the concept, id like to do this one day!
That is great fabric! I really need to make some of these. Such a great idea.
Thank you everyone! I’d love to see some of your bags if you make 'em!
I really liked the fabric!!! It looked like a rainbow!!
