I made a skirt out of this fabric and soon figured out that most of the colors wash out, so I used the last of it for this but covered all of it in this acrylic medium to seal it. (Utrecht matte gel) Some spots needed super glue, including the original case that had been falling apart. Now it is more secure, prettier, and it holds my Apple pencil again. The velcro is stick on. So, none of it required any sewing and all of it was possible with my healing wrist sprain. Yay!! I’m pretty proud of how it turned out.

Gorgeous! Really great looking with that fabric - hand woven, hand block printed, hand carved blocks & natural dyes too. That fabric is so special, I have had a bunch of it from Isfahan. Nice choice, good work, excellent salvage.

I just love this type of fabric so much. There’s a store here that has many many bolts of it in all different colors and patterns. Some day I will buy more, make another skirt, and wash it WAY more carefully. But, for now, I have this.
Thanks! The acrylic medium stuck to the rubber and plastic way better than I expected. I only had to superglue a couple corners of the fabric and the sides of the cut outs.
