My friend’s birthday was this week so I stitched up a hat for him. It’s just a simple ribbed beanie, so I didn’t use a pattern. I spun the yarn last year from some Noro pencil roving.
Gorgeous!! That’s some really lovely yarn you spun. I don’t think anyone does colours quite like Noro, they are amazing.
Thay yarn knitted up beautifully! What a gorgeous hat.
Thank you!
I love these colors! Gorgeous!
That is beautiful! Looks squishy (that’s a technical term!)
That is gorgeous! This hat makes my heart so happy to look at it. I’m sure it will be super cozy and warm.
Thanks! It is squishy! Working with the yarn was kind of like what I imagine crocheting dryer lint would feel like. But, in a good way. The roving was slubby and slightly felted before spinning, and that made for a highly variable single…it all evened out quite nicely after plying, but there’s still a lot of texture.
Love the colors!
Very cool (or warm), the colors look a bit like a sunset
The texture is still visible after crocheting and I think that adds to the cozy factor!
Love the contrast of warm and cool colors.
