Using this pattern from Sew4Home, I made my first mug rug. It’s also my my first attempt at quilting. I think it’s a christmas gift for my sister, but I am not entirely happy with the binding as I should have been more patient when making it. Everything is from stash.
The pattern is quite big. In the first photo, the extra large mug throws off the scale. I would say that finished piece similar to a small placemat size. Plenty of room for treats
It looks fantastic. Binding is hard, so give yourself a little break on that. It looks good. You’re being overly critical if yourself. Wonderful fabrics and they pocket is cute!
