Roses on Tulle

Thanks to this amazing community I finally finished my niece’s roses for her wedding dress.

She lost her mom, (my sister,) when she was little, her sister & baby niece were killed a little over 5 years ago. So she asked me to embroider 3 roses that she will have sewn onto her wedding dress on the side to represent them “always being by her side". It was a daunting honor. I nearly got paralyzed by fear, but persevered. It isn’t perfect, but I’m quite pleased with it.

I used wash away sticky paper for the pattern, but it didn’t stick great, so I still had to stitch it down. I was terrified to rinse it off, but tada. I’ll try to update this after the wedding (April) with a pic of her in the dress with it on.
