RPG Player Journals

Also for my daughter’s D&D birthday party, I made these blank journals for the kids. They will need to write stuff down for the adventure they are playing, and I thought this would be a fun party favor that was also useful. I folded some black card stock in half, filled it with 12 pages of white copy paper (also folded in half), and sewed the binding on my sewing machine (I held the pages in place with paperclips while I stitched). I was going to include D&D player sheets and some grid paper, but my daughter said they were better blank so they could also be used as sketchbooks. Then I printed out a bunch of chibi D&D characters on sticker paper and meticulously hand cut out all 75 of them, I didn’t think that one through. One sore hand later, the kids should have plenty of choices to decorate their new notebooks with.

I bet your daughter loved that you listened to her suggestion for the blank pages. Her friends will be impressed and have lots of fun sharing notes, ideas and stickers!

What did you use for the cover of the books?
