Sashiko-inspired bento bag

I wanted to turn this pretty fabric I had into a bag. I decided that the actual sewing would take minutes so I should take weeks slowly stitching red and white thread onto all three panels. It took me so long not because I did any elaborate stitches or strived to make them perfect. Nope, it took so long because I’m slow at hand stitching. I added some scrap leather I had for the handle.

The other side…

I basically used this Bento Bag pattern but I added a liner so there would be no raw edges.
