Scandinavian snowflake tapestries!

So it was nearly christmas and i really wanted to make something i was proud of for both my sisters. I was already making this really complex scarf for my sisters birthday the 24 of december so i was hoping to have something more simple. Then i remembered this snowflake tapestry coaster i made for a secret santa that everyone seemed to really like so that’s what i made!

So basically i went on pinterest and looked for snowflake pixel art and more and omg i was so inlove with the idea at that point! So i chose two of the designs and promptly started crocheting!!
I think i made these in less than 2 hours each and it was really fun!

Heres some pictures i took of them with my rat army, they make great capes for amigurumi projects in my opinion. My sisters seemed to like them a lot which made me glad. I think these turned out really cute and doubled up as some good tapestry practice, but i so want to make more now.
Please let me know if you have some more tapestry ideas, i would love to test my luck with ironing a project like this as i never have before.
Anyway this was such a fun and relaxing project and i definitely would recommend this as a quick gift!

Cozy and festive are the perfect adjectives! In addition to the awesome ways you’ve used them here, I wonder about stitching several together to make one of those ear warmer headbands- maybe even stitches them to some fleece for extra warmth and stability….
