Scrappy art supplies cover thingy

This was made for @jemimah in the recent scrappy swap. She needed a cover for her art supplies. This is a fairly thin sandwich of fabric, interfacing and backing fabric and I used the colour wheel as inspiration for the design.

I laid down scraps-so many scraps- of the appropriate colours in the correct segments and then did free motion stitching over the top, to keep everything in place. It took way way longer than I had anticipated to get everything fastened down, but I like the results.

I do love it!! It’s fabulous, and practical too  It’s hard to see in the photos how delicious the stitched texture is, it feels gorgeous too. Thank you again @Edel!
