First I’ll ooh & ahh as I sort & snap pics of my new stash, then I will be making a stack with them, lol, to join the previous stacks!

If it makes you feel any better I want to join this, have a fabric stash…. And don’t even sew! Haha

Collecting pretty things can be a hobby and inspiration in itself.

Q sent!

I have a new grandson coming in December. My first grandchild! So I decided my planned projects will be something for him.

TEN PARTNERS! lol, I know this swap doesn’t technically “build” swap but actually it really does

Congratulations! Charm squares are perfect for many baby-related projects.

@AntBee wanting to build a collection is a totally valid reason to join lol. Nobody thinks it’s weird that people collect coins or stamps. I fail to see what’s different about fabric.

You can always learn to quilt if you feel like you need an excuse. Charm squares are perfect for hexies if you don’t have a sewing machine.

It’s me. I checked in on the thread.

And signed up.
:squinting_face_with_tongue:
I have a problem.

Edit.

For future partners
I love a Halloween print.

Thanks for the heads-up @Magpie I’ve sent my questionnaire. Thanks @MistressJennie for organising

Interestingly our postal rates are €1.85 ($2.13) for 100g (3.5oz) so I’ll be sending a few extra squares

And that makes 10! Just a few more days of Signups.

Just had a thought, for those thinking “but I’m not a quilter”… you can glue fabric onto paper, decoupage things, you can even just put them in a box to pull out now and again, run your fingers through, and enjoy the colors. You don’t have to make something with them. Miniature versions of the fabric we all have that we take out to look at, pet, sigh, then put away.

Ooh this sounds fun, but I’m drowning at work and really don’t have the brain-space. I’ll be among the admiring fans

Ok Fabric Friends, it’s the 15th! Do I have any folks on the fence? Anyone planning to fill out their questionnaire today?

I’ll leave things open till early/mid afternoon. If I don’t hear from anyone, I’ll go ahead and close signups then. If someone does chime in, I’ll hold off till they are signed up.
