Scrappy Mug Rug!

I have a bag (as probably many of us do) full of cut-off yarn tails and pieces of yarn that are too short to really use as yarn anymore… so I tied some of them together and wove this wonky scrappy mug rug on a cardboard frame loom!

I kept all the knot tails on one side, so it turned out reversible! :joy:

I’d never have guessed it was made on a loom. Such a creative way to use those end bits of yarn and so cute!

A loom yes, but it was just cut out of cardboard! I should have shown that too… I wasn’t worried about the draw-in because I was mostly just seeing what would happen..

That loom is so cool! Thank you for sharing. I’m going to show my son’s teacher. They are always looking for hands-on early finisher works in their middle school.

Pretty colours & I really like the salvage of scrappy bits for something useful and cute.
