Okay… we do have a small aquarium in my city. I’m going to try going Saturday (if I can squeeze it in between events)

Oh cool you can feed them?! What do you feed them?

You’ve never been to an aquarium? :open_mouth: You gotta go! I’m curious what kind of aquarium you have.

It’s in the mall haha. But website says snakes, sharks (at least one), lots of tropical fish, and “sea puppies” aka stingray.

Cool! Ours is in the mall too. It’s it a very big mall?

Btw I thought your picture was like, a picture of your hair in a bun for some reason until just now when I realized it was your cat.

It sort of looks like you have trendy very short bangs? :joy: Lol why did I think this?

Little dead fish. You tuck one between your knuckles and put it in the water and they’ll come take it from you! The aquarium is super protective of the rays, so they only allow a certain number to feed them per hour, and you can only pet with two fingers, etc.

That’s good they are protective. I get worried about those types of attractions so it’s good they are careful.

@RagingSloth is not a particularly large mall. Also not a particularly large aquarium/ zoo.

@Dooney the wash hands first, only pet with 2 fingers down the middle of their back was mostly announced (i missed the only 2 fingers part my first time so they prob got 3)

So… I wasn’t super impressed? It was pretty small but it’s something. And I got to pet a stingray. And got my hands nibbled on by little fishies (that was so weird!). Note: hand pic is of a random guy that rolled his sleeve back up and put his hand back in just so I could take a pic. Because that was easier than getting one of my hand.

Sounds fun!!

Check in question for week three: How’s everyone doing with thier project? I am waiting on a delivery from Amazon for an item to finish mine and I anticipate no delays in sending out. Is everyone on time for send out on May 1?

One small project is done, I may add something to it. I can’t decide.

I’m learning a new craft for the other thing, because what I definitely need is a new hobby (and new supplies to collect!)

Not expecting any delays here!

I need to go supply shopping. Trying to find :the “exact most perfect” supply (truly singular!) without having to spend a ton. I miss JoAnn’s! Now that I am reminded again I’ll go search online.

Assuming my mild flu symptoms are just a reaction to the shingles vaccine I’ll get mine out on time, no problem. If it actually is influenza (i figure I’ll know for sure tomorrow) then… :expressionless_face:

Hope you find that perfect item. I have to get my shingles shot as well. I’ve been putting it off. I’ve been told to get the shot on a day that I don’t work or have plans just in case I have a reaction to it. Hope you feel better soon.

Wish somebody had told me that haha. I’m feeling better today - just a sore arm and a headache.

Ok everyone, send out date is May 1 this Friday. I’m just putting the finishing touches to my project and will be ready to send out. Does anyone need more time to finish?

Argh! I thought Saturday was 1st (seriously, I just said no to free comedy tickets for a show on 3rd bcuz I thought it was Monday)

If possible to have a few more days that would be great.
