Normally I feel pretty weird about self-portraits, but I seem to have no problem with selfies (photos). I took this selfie in Arizona on our first major road trip in the bus last Winter, heading to California to see my mom. I just loved it but wanted to draw it. I now use it as my user pic here as well as most places I go on the internet. Oh, also, I normally hate crosshatching but I have been trying to find ways to use it that I don’t hate. I’ve now done a few ink drawings with crosshatch that I love.
