Sew scrappy bag

I made this tote bag for my partner for the sew scrappy swap. I knew right way that I wanted to make a tote bag and that I wanted to do it in black and white (color combo partner listed). When I finished it, I got so excited and packed it away without taking pictures of it!!! :woman_facepalming:t2::woman_facepalming:t2::woman_facepalming:t2::woman_facepalming:t2: thankfully @Abbeeroad took some amazing photos for me to post.

“sew” cute! I’m really getting inspired by all you great scrappy fabric artists to try making something from my stash.

I love it!! You did such an awesome job patching the scraps together. I especially love that UFO fabric. It’s the first thing my husband noticed! It’s also perfectly sized. Did I mention I love it? :grin:

What an awesome bag! I love that you kept it monochrome - it’s random and scrappy while still being easy on the eyes. The UFO fabric is so cool.

Thank you everyone so much!!! And I was featured?! Yay!!!

Sorry I have been slow to respond to all the wonderful comments. I’ve just been having a lot of stomach issues and on top of my diverticulitis/diverticulosis diagnosis at the end of July, I just got my gallbladder removed as well!! Lol. So my last few months have been something. But I’m two weeks post op and feeling much better and ready to craft and browse through all the wonderful crafts I’ve missed.

@J-squared thank you! And you should definitely try with your own scraps. You’ll be amazed with what you can use and do.

@Abbeeroad im so happy you love it! And I was so nervous using the ufo fabric because I know it’s not everyone’s cup of tea. I’m just glad it’s getting as much love as I love the fabric lol.

@Tapestry thank you so much :grin:

@Bunny1kenobi you can’t go wrong with a black and white combo

@Manders thank you!

@Magpie awe thank you so much!!

@Edel thank you!

@tendstowardschaos thank you so much. I can’t take credit for the color choice since @Abbeeroad mentioned wanting black and white but I was surprised how much of black and white/gray fabric I had lol

@gozer thank you! Totes are perfect for carrying craft supplies :joy:

@jemimah thank you!! That ufo fabric is such a fun fabric.

@Kwality570 hahahaha thank you so much!
